During this 9 months project I worked as Expert UI/UX designer supporting the in-house Tracker product team, part of the ideation department.
Together with Sales, PM and Designer Leader, following the existing brand guidelines, I worked 360 degrees on the product and its ecosystem of assets: UI/UX design for the app, Icons and components design, UI migration from Sketch to Figma, Newsletter Campaign, Banners, ADV, Offline printed materials, Landing Pages, Help Center, Chatbot styling and integration, Beta community research and concept.

Tracker IoT - the App:

The Tracker app is a product that help you tracking and caring about your pet’s safety and well-being.
Connected to a small IoT device attached to your dog's collar, it helps you track their movements even when they wander off. It provides an accurate overview of their calorie and water intake needs, as well as the routes and activities they engage in. Additionally, it highlights points of interest for animals (or danger zones) on an updated map of your city. Another useful feature we designed is the ability to remotely activate a flashlight signal that illuminates the collar at night through the app.

During the ideation phases, my responsibilities included conducting research, moderating workshops, generating UX flows to support the definition of use cases, proposing ideas, providing support for feature classification and prototyping UI for new features as:

- Onboarding flow

- New profile creation

- Battery saving mode

- Points of interest (Map view)

- Feeding recommendation

- Flashlight signal

- Chatbot UI integration & Chatbot styling

- GPS required alerts

- Updates of the new Design System to the existing app screens

Responsive Landing pages Design

Together with the Fressnapf team (Sales Director, PM and Designer Leader) we redesigned the Landing Page with a fresh and bold new style and new modular sections such as:

- headers with illustrations

- price comparison

- trust banner

- new features with benefits

- upselling the new product banners

The project was done by migrating all the files from Sketch to Figma and building new reusable components.

NEW FEATURES - PRODUCT UPDATES

“trough launch and relevant communication of accessories (charger, colourful frames) a revenue of 15.000 Euro of tracker accessories could be reached in first 8 weeks after launch. And this despite the fact that spending on non-food items is generally declining.”
